AD CAMPAIGN: MOSCHINO SPRING/SUMMER 2013 BY JEURGEN TELLER
Posted on January 2, 2013
I’ll be honest, while I do like Jeurgen Teller’s tongue and cheek, “window into my world” style, it does eventually start becoming rather repetitive ( Céline, Marc Jacobs, Vivienne Westwood?)
But with Moschino’s Spring/Summer 2013 campaign, the photographer’s style seems to have been given a lease of life, 0r rather it’s been “Jeur-newed”…
Ok so that was a major fail, but what isn’t a fail is the new campaign. Check out models Hanne-Gaby Odiele & Juliana Schurig posing it up in a bright and sunny Milan here.
As with the runway, the styling is rather 60s however the setting isn’t. I had originally assumed this was shot somewhere in the US but as mentioned earlier, it is in fact Milan!
I don’t know whether it’s the bright collection, the clear blue sky or the urban setting, but there’s something here that just seems to work. It’s a spring/summer campaign by Jeurgen Teller that can actually be identified with the season itself, so maybe that just it?
