AD CAMPAIGN: VERSACE EROS FRAGRANCE BY MERT ALAS & MARCUS PIGGOTT

If there’s one thing you can rely on, It’s Versace being able to still provide us with some excessive, 90s, gaudy glamour.
For their latest fragrance campaign, an outrageously tanned, (Essex could never), and toned Brian Shimansky plays a personification of the Greek God of Love and the Goddess Aphrodite’s son, Eros, with the blue hued image having the Mert & Marcus seal all over it. With his olympian strength, the model holds the decorative glass fragrance bottle while wearing what I assume is part of the Spring/Summer 2013 menswear collection and in the new Donatella Versace art directed commercial released by Versace today, we see the immortal with bow in tow in action!

I hate when people use the word “typically” to describe a brand’s latest venture, but it’s “typically” 90s Versace. Out of the whole thing I quite like the shot of the arrow smashing the bottle to smithereens, but I’m sure most people probably didn’t make it past the rain water dripping down the hot muscular model’s abs…
