SALE PICKS – THE BURBERRY PRORSUM STUDDED LEATHER GLOVES FROM MR PORTER

January may be warmer than usual this year (or maybe it’s just that I’ve been stuck indoors with the heating on for the past few weeks), but knowing our unpredictable British weather, it will begin snowing by next month!

SALE PICKS – THE BURBERRY PRORSUM WAXED COTTON RIDING JACKET FROM MATCHES

I never really followed the whole quilted “Barbour” style jacket trend a year ago – When I mean trend I mean whenever I hopped on a bus or a tube in November 2011 – February 2012, every guy was wearing something similar – But then again I never saw anything at the time as beautiful as this Burberry Prorsum Waxed Cotton Riding Jacket from Matches.

Maybe it’s my obsession with the colour Khaki, or maybe it’s my obsession with metallic details coupled with my obsession with Khaki, who knows? But I love how contemporary, cropped and chic this jacket looks compared to what I once saw swallowing various males on the streets of London.

Available for £1,395 £697 online from Matches.

I CAN’T STAND THE RAIN AGAINST MY WINDOW, BUT I WILL FOR BURBERRY!

Who would have thought our miserable British weather could be made to look so wonderfully romantic! I’m not talking about the wet mess outside my window, I am of course referring to the newly released Burberry Autumn/Winter 2012/13 TV campaign starring Gabriella Wilde and Roo Panes.

Check out the beautiful Mario Testino directed visuals entitled, The Encounter, London Fog and Midnight Rain here, along with Roo Panes’ superbly emotive theme “Indigo Home.” Aside from the atmospheric cinematography, the product looks absolutely divine!

BURBERRY PRORSUM RESORT 2013

You would be forgiven for thinking that this was an A/W 2013 collection, I know at first glance I did.  However rather than following the summer trend of candy colours, whimsical prints and saturated palettes, Burberry Prorsum’s resort collection focuses more on classic and timeless staples as oppose to statement.
