While perusing the web this lunchtime & mocking up a geometric inspired window scheme, I came across this stunning tee from Browns. A quick illustrator sketch later & here’s my second pick from foraging the world wide web for fashion deals.
I’m a firm believer that an Advertising Campaign should not only sell the brand’s aesthetic and the current collection, but also be a window into a world that you can only dream of being a part of. Sure enough, Lanvin’s Spring/Summer 2013 campaign lensed by Steven Meisel does all of that and more.
Check out the beautiful men’s and women’s campaigns here.
2012 was sadly a dry year when it came to buying beautiful things. But you know the saying, “all good things come to those who wait”, well that pretty much sums up what happened two days ago, when I suddenly and unexplainably awoke at 8am and decided to surf the Mr Porter 80% off sale on my mobile phone looking for a new everyday leather tote/satchel, only to bag (forgive me), this A+MAZING, ordained by the Gods and anointed by the holy ones, Leather Patchwork Men’s Holdall by Lanvin.
When I see exquisite accessories such as this Lanvin Classic Grey Calfskin Leather Briefcase from the Farfetch sale, I think to myself, “WHY didn’t I pick a profession where I could carry a chic briefcase!!?!?.”
Here’s something a little bit more realistic/affordable on my wish list – A Lanvin iPhone case, but in true greedy Christmas spirit I’ve chosen two!
It’s a sad fact that although I ADORE Lanvin, I don’t own anything from the iconic Parisian label *weeps*. It’s also a sad fact that my iPhone 4s has gone without a designer case for over a year, (it didn’t work out between Marc Jacobs and I). But both these quirky, unique and more importantly, affordable sketched covers have won me over with their signature and timeless Alber Elbaz style, that will be sure to “Keep Chirag Chic” whenever and wherever!
…timeless until I upgrade to the iPhone 5 (s?) next year that is…

Don’t worry, i’m not going to make any cheesy snake jokes…this time anyway…
Aside from becoming infatuated with “stars” and “aztec” motifs this year, I’ve developed an obsession with snake skin – whether it be print, leather or just in tiny details.
So while on my search through Luisaviaroma’s final sale reductions, I came across these beautiful purple snake skin hi top sneakers made from 90% snake and 10% calf, with reinforced metal eyelets and contrasting leather piping
which a generous sugar soul needs to buy for me. But hurry! They’re only available in size 7 and with a whopping 50% off!
