As Blaise Pascal said, “In faith there is enough light for those who want to believe and enough shadows to blind those who don’t.”
Stay strong, keep believing it will get better & don’t give up! x
“Fill the Heart with the oil of love.
Place in it the wick of single-pointed mind.
Light it with the Knowledge of Truth and remove
the darkness of ignorance around you.
Just as one lamp can light many lamps;
let each youth kindle this Light in many hearts.”
Happy Diwali to all my friends, family & Twitter/FB followers xxx
(Here’s hoping my luck finally changes this new year too!)
Over the past few weeks I’ve been working on a project which I like to call “that which cannot be named”, with fashionable jewellery brand LeiVanKash.
Now I’m still not going to reveal anything until I’m allowed to, but here’s something small I designed for fun using a variety of techniques and mediums I tend to use quite frequently, and that I have implemented for this soon to be revealed project.
And yes…This is what I do on my Saturday nights in the middle of nowhere while all you “young’uns” are living it up in the club…*weeps*
The trade only event, takes place between the 19th-21st September 2012 at the Javitz Center in New York, and of course jumping on any opportunity to plug myself and my work, I had to also post the above graphic because it was designed my none other than MEEEEE!!
Kudos to the marketing team at Specsavers for taking advantage of a major Olympic faux pas.
The UK opticians created the above advertisement and released it today through online tweets and newspapers, after the South Korean flag was shown next to the North Korean women’s football team on the first day of sporting action. The company incorporated their catchphrase/slogan “Should have gone to specsavers” in Korean and cleverly made light of the situation whilst most likely drawing a horde of attention to their product and sales.
There hasn’t been much news regarding the heavily elated Final Fantasy Versus XIII, however this may re-ignite some of your lost Square-Enix love.
The company revealed the power of their next generation game engine, “Luminous Studio” at gaming event E3 today, and the results are spectacular!
The highly detailed tech demo named “Agni’s Philosophy” showed off extremely detail hair, skin textures, monsters and magic all in real-time! Yes that video up there does not show a cinematic pre-rendered sequence, it’s gameplay baby!
Although Square Enix CTO Yoshihisa Hashimoto said the engine is still under development, the results so far are mind blowing and will place the company at the forefront of high end gaming. However, being the avid RPG fan I am, I think Square-Enix should focus somewhat more on their story-lines and content, as judging from the last few games they have released, graphics are really the least of their worries.
Now hurry up with Versus XIII!!!
