CHRISTOPHER KANE MEN’S SPRING SUMMER 2013 – PARIS FASHION WEEK

Check out the catwalk images from the Christopher Kane Spring/Summer 2013 menswear showcase at Paris Fashion Week with some of my key notes on colours and influences below.
The need for simplicity is the major influence here – “Boys wear simple (pieces) so I like to keep it real”, and that is exactly what we have here. A colour palette comprised of a multitude of bright colours from fushia, teal, green, blue, grey, orange and more adorn white and black canvases through lavishly thick brushstroke themed prints along with crimson and sepia tinged floral prints. The primary focus of this collection is on it’s simplicity to mix and match and easy to wear everyday garments injected with a bold amalgamation of glorious colour. The sublime teal stroke trousers are coupled with a navy/purple stroke tee, and green painted vest top paired with a simple pair of black shorts which are worn with either plain sandals or the quirky black chelsea boots with a red panel insert.
