COVER: JACQUELYN JABLONSKI BY DAVID ROEMER, VOGUE MEXICO, JANUARY 2013
Posted on December 21, 2012
Jacquelyn Jablonski strikes a pose on the January 2013 cover of Vogue Mexico while wearing a Fendi Spring/Summer 2013 ensemble.
Shot by David Roemer, it’s fair to say that Jacquelyn has become a victim of the dreaded photoshop facelift, however everything from the retro styling and pose, to the text and the overall colour palette is totally on point! The sky blue, yellow, stone, navy, tan and gold combination is utterly salivating and will definitely be something I plan on testing early next year.
The editorial fares even better, with the model looking glamourous, fierce and effortlessly cool in variety of primary shades while surrounded in a 70s haze.
Love the movement and the contrast between the optimistic setting and colours, and Jacquelyn’s ominous attitude. If I didn’t know it was a cover story, I would have assumed it was an ad campaign.
