SHWETA-NANDA-R-BURMAN-VIGUE-INDIA-DECEMBER-2012

COVER: SHWETA NANDA BY R.BURMAN, VOGUE INDIA, DECEMBER 2013

Shweta Nanda is a vision in purple as she sits gracefully in an overflowing gown on the cover of Vogue India, December 2012.

Despite being the daughter of Bollywood royalty and of course older sister to Abishek Bachchan, the film industry has never appealed to Shweta who believes she doesn’t “have the talent or the face to be a heroine,” and insteads live a relatively normal life raising her children and being a doting wife.

While I like do like Shweta’s elegant look, captured by R.Burman’s lens, I’m not a fan of the bleached out trees or silver heads for that matter. Personally a plain white background and a more exciting font would really have worked with the title “The Power of Elegance”. Still, I do think she looks beautiful nonetheless!
