If Angels wore clothes, I bet you £29 they would be from COS… *daydreams*

Transencending the idea of “season”, with garments enriched by a soft, muted colour palette and weaved from both contemporary and classic materials,  the brand’s trend aware ethos is not only rendered into their transitional collections, but found within the design of their functional “gallery like” stores.

So while I continue to shop for things I shouldn’t, and my taste in clothing becomes more attuned to all things minimal and clean cut, here are a few of my favourite tops available from COS now.

I’m in Heaven… oversized AND leather panelled! *dies*

It’s a shame that they haven’t stocked the majority of the SS13 collection online just yet (that TDF khaki coloured top I’ve posted above would have been no.1), but this lust-worthy list should keep us tied over for the next few weeks.

Hmm I always like the look of COS pieces, but am often let down by the quality when I actually go into the shop. I kind of feel like they are selling me really overpriced high street crap, but tarted up to look chic and minimal so I think it\’s good quality… I\’m interested to see what H&M\’s next \”upper level\” brand & Other Stories looks like!

BLASPHEMY! But I do agree to an extent – Quality is always going to be compromised when you sell a \”high end\” look for high street prices. You just have to be extremely picky about what you buy.

Believe it or not, the prices now don\’t actually differ too much from other high st retailers such as River Island and Topman. However I would rather pay £29 for a 100% cotton piece from COS knowing it has a strip real leather attached to it, than £25 for something made from polyester and imitation leather that I\’m going to see worn by a gang of 18 year olds everywhere I turn.

It\’s a shame the new Luxury stores won\’t be stocking menswear though :-(
