NOKIA LAUNCH #NOKIALVK DESIGN COMPETITION WITH LEIVANKASH JEWELLERY & WITH LIMITED EDITION ARTWORK DESIGNED BY ME!
Posted on November 13, 2012
Surely you must all know by now that I rarely ever pass up an opportunity to plug myself or my work…
Yes Ladies and Gentleman, after weeks and weeks of keeping my big trap shut, I can final reveal one of my most favourite and fashionable clients, LeiVanKash Jewellery, have teamed up with none other than communications technology brand Nokia and launched an amazingly creative competition perfectly coinciding with the launch of the new Lumia 920 smartphone. And as you can probably tell from the above, I was asked to lend my design skills to the project!
Check out all details here.
As outlined on the Nokia Connects website, Using a Lumia 900, “Our trend-setters are being given the task of inspiring Leila’s next jewellery creation! Participants will select one of the five bespoke LVK collections – (Skullmania, Totem, Flora, Damocles, Persepolis) – to create the ultimate mood board on their blog, filled with individual style inspirations captured through the lens of the Lumia.”
The selected winner will then be flown to london to meet with designer/director of LeiVanKash Jewellery, Leila Kashanipour, where their mood board will be transformed into bespoke LVK jewellery piece!
But if that wasn’t enough, 5 finalists, (including the winner), will win one of 5 bespoke, limited edition Nokia x LVK wooden jewellery boxes, along with the an engraved Lumia 920! Each box, (worth approxamitely £2000), has a unique piece of artwork relating to one of the collections, and has been designed by, (along with the special LVK engraving), *drum roll*… ME ME ME ME ME!
Having just started this week, it’s not too late for you to get involved! Head to the Trial a Nokia page and submit why you should be involved, using the hashtag #NokiaLVK.
To get those creative juices flowing, Nokia have also launched the exclusive StyleSaint app, where you can check out the latest fashion trends, tear your favourite looks and even make your very own StyleBooks.
At a later date (and with all the right permissions), I’ll post about all the artwork, including my inspirations, details regarding it’s production and of course working with the amazing Branding agency 1000 Heads & LeiVanKash.
The LeiVanKash Jewellery website (also designed by yours truly) can be viewed here.
