What do you get when you combine Lindsey Wixson, Nick Knight and Perez Hilton together!?! You get a hilarious and dramatic, story driven editorial that combines the best of photography and graphic design, with just the right amount of “pop”.

Drawing inspiration from Roy Lichtensetein’s pop art, Lindsey Wixson stars as the scorned, flame haired, femme fatale with a plot written by Perez Hilton in the form of today’s emoticons and iPhone text messages, as opposed to the speech bubbles prevalent throughout Lichtenstein’s work.

Dressed in a variety of designers including Marni, Balmain, Prada, Comme Des Garcons, Valentino and Versace, the model decides to go H.A.M with machine gun, after finding out her boyfriend cheated on her via Facebook.

The fabulous Nick Knight lensed editorial, which will hit new-stands on the 10th September, is a such a refreshing way to convey this seasons fashion trends through a predominately graphic driven piece, while Perez’ scripted humour, (while basic), works well within the context too.

The Balmain/Giuseppe Zannoti shot is definitely my favourite, but who knew Prada would look so good behind bars!
