Prada have collaborated with Armenian-born graphic designer Vahram Muratyan to produce a collection of T-shirts drawing influence from the accessories of their Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Check them out here.
According to Vogue.co.uk, Muratyan was first recruited to “make a virtual lookbook named Prada Parallel Universes, which reflected his bold, playful style. Muratyan is best known for his book Paris vs New York, which explores the graphic signs of both cities and serves as a starting point for Prada’s latest offering.”
I think these are fantastic. They’re so very retro and almost remind me of the vintage advertising posters form the 70s. I’m a big fan of bold abstract print statement tees and colour block like a crayola box, so they would fit perfectly into my summer wardrobe. I’m treating these as totally unisex so my personal favourites have to be SS12 hot rod heels in front of the car and of course the engagement ring artwork…. #PutARingOnIt.
