Hunter & Gatti’s photograph of Zuzanna Bijoch was literally transformed into a work of art for Flesz Magazine back in 2012.
Ok so I’m cheating once again! There are just waaay too many to choose from!
Here are my top 3 choices for The 2012 Coolest Magazine Cover Award!
Note: The top 3 are derived from covers I have blogged/tweeted about so don’t get your knickers in a twist!
With high profile names such as Daphne Groeneveld, Constance Jablonski, Jac Jagaciak and Anna Slezneva each channelling their inner animal through either their designer garments, attitude or make-up, here are all eleven absolutely outstanding covers for Magazine Antidotes fierce and fabulous Fall/Winter 2012 “Animal issue”, lensed by Txema Yeste.
I LOVE this magazine! And as much as I want every single cover (nothing new there), the “Dog” (an ode to Chris Von Wangenheim’s Dior ads?), Daphne and Anna covers are by far my absolute favourites, but Ginta’s cover is an like a motion blurred 3D optical illusion of bursting fur that I can’t stop staring at!
After how fantastic the previous Icon’s Issue looked, I am beyond excited to see each model’s individual editorial, which of course I shall be posting and reviewing as soon as I can.
You can now purchase your preferred issue (s) from Magazine Antidote’s E-Shop
While on the W-Magazine train, here is the accompanying editorial to their August 2012 cover starring the beautiful Charlize Theron and handsome Michael Fassbander.
The sexual chemistry between these two could bring about the end of days. Check out the Mario Sorrenti lensed shoot here. *wipes drool off iMac keyboard*
Nelly Furtado finally premiered the video to her fantastic second single Spirit Indestructible.
The inspirational song, the follow-up to the luke warm Big Hoops, see the singer return to form. Check it out.
What the hell did the photographer use to retouch these pictures!?! A potato!?
The shoot which was said to show off the “Olympian side” of the four members of british boy band JLS, instead exposes the flaws and clear lack of skill of the photographer who took the images. Check out the disastrous pics here.
There hasn’t been much news regarding the heavily elated Final Fantasy Versus XIII, however this may re-ignite some of your lost Square-Enix love.
The company revealed the power of their next generation game engine, “Luminous Studio” at gaming event E3 today, and the results are spectacular!
The highly detailed tech demo named “Agni’s Philosophy” showed off extremely detail hair, skin textures, monsters and magic all in real-time! Yes that video up there does not show a cinematic pre-rendered sequence, it’s gameplay baby!
Although Square Enix CTO Yoshihisa Hashimoto said the engine is still under development, the results so far are mind blowing and will place the company at the forefront of high end gaming. However, being the avid RPG fan I am, I think Square-Enix should focus somewhat more on their story-lines and content, as judging from the last few games they have released, graphics are really the least of their worries.
Now hurry up with Versus XIII!!!
