THE HOLY TRINITY OF ALL SAINTS
Posted on August 16, 2012
If you hadn’t noticed by now, the autumn/winter 2012 collection from All Saint’s has me salivating – but it’s not the menswear that’s got me all excited, it’s the impeccable womenswear.
Take the above image for example. Three items I came across recently with their beautifully rich earthy, foreboding tones, including chalk, jet, rose, amber and ox blood. Perfect statement pieces this autumn to wear with the plainest of items from your wardrobe. But here’s a thought, would you ever consider wearing all three together? I certainly would, but maybe that’s because I’ve recently become a bit obsessed with the idea of mixing textures as long as there is a connection within the colour palette.
Think “burning clouds in the mountains” – The eccentric feather printed leggings, a glorious glittering ombre sequinned top, and instead of the obviously plain black leather footwear, deliciously dark ox-blood coloured hessian hair boots.
Oh the shoot I would plan around this outfit would make you want to plead for the “End of Days” just to wear it!
All these wonderful items are available from All Saints
